National Voter Registration Day

If it’s September, it must be time to celebrate National Voter Registration Day! This year we have several ways to celebrate.

• Volunteer to adopt a residential community to help seniors re-register to vote, to sign up for vote-by-mail ballots, or to understand the new Vote Center system of voting.
• Sign up to register and pre-register students at high school and college campuses.
• Volunteer to increase voter participation in the mock election on Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and 29, 2019, by distributing flyers throughout our service area.
• Sign up to conduct Vote Center presentations to explain the Vote Center concept, including the new technology, a new ballot, a new vote recorder, and electronic rosters (e-poll books).
