All LWV-PA members are called to attend our 2020 Annual Meeting. In light of the situation we are in today, it has become necessary to have virtual meetings in lieu of face-to-face gatherings to carry out the business of the League of Women Voters. The 2020 Annual Meeting, due to the pandemic emergency, is requiring several modifications to our normal practices in conducting an annual meeting. On behalf of the Board, we ask for your support, patience, and understanding of the modifications being put forth.

- Amendments to LWV-PA Bylaws
- Program priorities for Education and Advocacy for 2020–2021
- Budget for 2020–2021
- Nominating slate for Officers and Directors for 2020–2021
- Nominating committee slate for 2021–2022
An 84th Annual Meeting Kit will be sent via email to all members. It will contain detailed information on the Order of Business items. You will need the Annual Meeting Kit to participate in the virtual meeting, so keep it handy.
The LWV-PA Board met on May 13 and approved the agenda for the Annual Meeting, to be held virtually as a webinar on June 25, and the minutes of the last Annual Meeting, held in June 2019. Both will be included in the Annual Meeting Kit.
Instructions for how to attend the meeting will be provided to all members who register to attend the virtual meeting by June 18 at our online RSVP page.
How Will Voting Take Place?
Since this is a virtual meeting, to be held as a webinar, the Board has approved an alternative voting process. On June 20, current members (those who paid this year’s dues on or after April 2019) will receive an email with a voting ballot that they can complete after studying the explanations given in the 84th Annual Meeting Kit. The ballot provides places to vote for the five items in the Order of Business and must be submitted by June 23, 2020.

June 20—Current members receive an e-ballot via email.
June 23—Deadline for submitting the e-ballot.
June 25—Annual Meeting via Zoom webinar.
