More than 400,000 Americans have died of COVID-19 and, sadly, we still aren’t close to controlling this pandemic. Zoom with us on Thursday with the League, February 4, 2021, and learn how we can all do our part to outwit this virus before virus mutations outrun the vaccine.
League members and infectious disease physicians Margan and Thad Zajdowicz will discuss:
- where we stand currently in our fight against this virus,
- which virus variants we should be concerned about,
- how you can step up your game to avoid COVID-19,
- what you can do to survive COVID-19 should you be infected, and
- just what is “long-haul” COVID-19.
Most important, they will go over what you need to know about the vaccines, their distribution, and why it is imperative to get the vaccine sooner rather than later. Last but not least, they will project into the future and offer a glimpse into what “new normal” will look like and what it means for all our futures.
The talk will conclude with plenty of time for questions and answers. Register for this event at www.lwv-pa.org. You won’t want to miss this!
