A program via Zoom about alternative solutions at work in our Criminal Court for those who have intersected with the criminal justice system due to trauma, mental health issues or substance use disorders. Presenters include representatives from collaborating multi-disciplinary teams including Judge Denine Guy, Behavioral Health Court; Tim Newman, Director of Criminal and Traffic Divisions at the Santa Cruz Superior Court; Mark Briscoe, Santa Cruz County public defender's office; Stoney Brook, Veteran Liaison on the County Human Services Commission.
