Primary Election Candidate Forum

Please join us in person at Richmond City Council Chambers on March 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM to hear from the candidates running for Richmond City Council Districts 2, 3 and 4 and for Richmond Mayor.  The event will be televised, streamed and later available on KCRT YouTube.

Issues for Emphasis are adopted by our grassroots members during our biennial Convention.

The League of Women Voters Education Fund conducts voter service and citizen education activities. It is a nonpartisan nonprofit public policy educational organization.

We are truly a grassroots organization... The League of Women Voters takes action on an issue or advocates for a cause when there is an existing League position that supports the issue or speaks to the cause.
