Lake County District 11 County Board Member and Forest Preserve Commissioner Paul Frank will be our guest speaker. We have asked him to provide updates on issues within both the County Board and the Forest Preserves that impact our communities. Locally, we are interested in a range of topics, including public health and community wellness, sustainability and climate resilience, transportation, and stormwater and flood mitigation. We are also very eager to learn when we might expect a Master Plan update that will support a connected lakefront trail between the Highland Park and Lake Forest portions of the Forest Preserves and when that project can be expected to be completed?.
