… that a referendum to create a Mental Health Board for Moraine Township will be on the November 2024 ballot?

Also known as a “708 Community Mental Health Board”, these boards evaluate needs, allocate funds, and coordinate a comprehensive system of services for mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders in order to benefit the residents of a township.  

Join our local League of Women Voters of Highland Park and Highwood for an educational program that will consist of a panel of two Township Supervisors, who already have Mental Health Boards, and our Moraine Township Supervisor:
