Sunday, September 13, 2020 - 1:30pm
The League of Women Voters of Lake County is convening a virtual community forum to discuss ‘excess deaths’ during Covid-19.

Across the country, the evidence is emerging that COVID-19 is exacerbating underlying health problems among vulnerable populations.  Taking the latest Lake County data, Dr. Maryann Mason (Feinberg School of Medicine - Northwestern University), will highlight areas of concern within our community, including overdose, suicide, and stroke.

Our high-level panel will convene Sunday, September 13, 2020, at 1:30 pm to  discuss what their organizations are experiencing, and how best to keep our community safe.

Join Lake County Board Chair, The Honorable Sandy Hart; Lake County State's Attorney, Mike Nerheim;  Lake County Sheriff, John Idleburg; Lake County Coroner, Howard Cooper; and other community leaders for this important discussion.
