Voter Services

Voter Services

Organizes the League's many voter registration and education events.

These include tabling at high schools, U.S. Naturalization Citizen ceremonies, and such local public events as the Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Occasionally Voters Services volunteers are invited to special events such the NAACP's celebration of Juneteenth and neighborhood gatherings.

Last year volunteers participated in the statewide LWVK initiative ”March to the Polls,“ which commemorated the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment by targeting voter registration and turnout efforts in under-represented precincts.

Voter Services also works with local high schools to provide voter registration and education and  activities including contests and volunteer opportunities.

New volunteers are welcome!
