Great Bend is the site for the State League Council meeting this year. League members from around the state will gather Saturday, April 28 from 9 to 4:15 at the Great Bend Church of Christ. Featured speaker will be Tracy Streeter, director of the Kansas Water Office.

The agenda will include adoption of the LWVK's new position on water; update on plans for the League's 100 year celebration; election of new state board of directors and officers; legislation and election year updates; and information on League merchandise.
