GHASSAN KORBAN P.E., EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE NEW ORLEANS SEWERAGE AND WATER BOARD TO ADDRESS THE LEAGUE

Ghassan Korban, appointed by Mayor Cantrell, took the reins of the Sewerage & Water Board in September 2018. Formerly the Milwaukee Commissioner of Public Works, Mr. Korban has the engineering expertise as well as years of experience overseeing major projects from utility management to the construction of the first streetcar in Milwaukee. The New Orleans system which encompasses water treatment and distribution, sewer treatment and storm water drainage has been plagued by numerous issues. We will hear Mr. Korban's vision for the S&WB and what measures are needed to attain improvement. Click here to read more.
