Candidate information for the November 6 election will be available on this website September 20, 2018. This information will be submitted by the individual candidates and will be unedited. You will read their biographical information and answers to questions.  All the candidates that have qualified for the Orleans election are now posted. Click here to access.

LOUISIANA'S CHARTER SCHOOLS 1995 TO NOW: GOVERNANCE, FINANCE, AND ACCESS

 

The League of Women Voters of Louisiana will be doing a study of the current status of charter schools in Louisiana.  This is a state-wide study which will entail the input of Leaguers across the state.  League of Women Voter of New Orleans members can access the study material at www.lwvofla.org or link to it here.  To open the study you will need the password.  You will receive an e-mail with the password.  Take your time to read all the material and plan to attend the announced meetings.  Consensus will be taken on the questions to establish the League's position.  SEE YOU AT THE MEETINGS AND LOOK FORWARD TO LIVELY DISCUSSION.
