Why a Volunteer Fair? Think jobs fair for civic engagement!

Our community is full of dynamic, talented, caring folks of all ages. We'd like to help match this energy to the many opportunities to build stronger community through participation! This Fair and Directory will enable community member to learn about position open to them in local organizations, civic boards, and elected offices.

Most organizations need volunteers to function; town committees often have empty seats and elected offices often go uncontested. There are many people in our community who would like to get invoved, but they don't know what volunteer opportunities exist, he nature of each committment, and who they should contact for more information. Having eager citizens and welcoming organizations with all their information together in one place is a win for us all!
