First day that we could all sense spring is on its way. 12 of us spent the hour enjoying the weather, each other's company, and supporting the rule of law and The Constitution of the United States of America.
Seven Samurai Sentries for Democracy and the rule of law. Our weapons are not metal, but signs advocating for truth, justice and the American way! Lots of honks and beeps.
With nicer weather, and town meetings and elections over (for now), our count was back up to 15 peaceful protesting patriots! I think we sometimes forget, how it really all started here, and the rest is history.
Seven Stalwart Souls Stood Out on Saturday! Beautiful day, but the winds were blowing us around, but we stood firm and no signs were lost. Need them for next week, so hope to see you there. Peace and love to all humanity.
The count was down from last week, but the wind was up. It was whipping and wuthering, but 8 of us stood out against the force of the squalls that are blowing in our nation's capital.
The third No Kings event was a success! I counted 180 at about 11:45, however, there were a lot of folks that came and left early, so I would say we could have been close to 200 at our maximum count-so satisfying and uplifting.
Across the street from the Winthrop School, until the snow melts.
On March 21st, a dozen, dynamic, daring and dauntless dissenters stood out for our 50th stand out for democracy. We hope you will join us this Saturday, March 28th for our 51st Stand Out and No Kings 3 event.
Cold and damp, windy and no sun, but we were back on the Winthrop School side. Snow is melting! 16 in total including a couple of young ones, running around and having a great time.
