Eight of us stood out for democracy on this cold day in December. We may not have names like Dasher, Dancer, Comet and Blitzen, but we all carried messages of peaceful protest, and the desire to support all our fellow human beings. The Winter Solstice was the next day, bringing us hope that as the days get longer, the rule of law will prevail.
