“Constitutional Contagion: How Is the Supreme Court Making Us Unhealthy?”

On Wednesday, November 8, the League of Women Voters of Wellesley kicked off our program year with guest speaker Professor Wendy Parmet.  Professor Parmet is a leading expert on health, disability, and public health law. At our Opening Meetng, Professor Parmet shared her professional perspective on how decisions of the Supreme Court are compromising the health of Americans; decisions already issued or potential actions on cases to be heard. 

Professor Parmet is the Matthews Distinguished University Professor of Law and Faculty Co-Director, Center for Health Policy and Law and the Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, Northeastern University School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs.
