The LWV Wellesley's Virtual "Meet the Candidates Night", held on February 11, 2021, enables voters to virtually "meet" the candidates and hear their positions on issues of importance to the town. You can watch the entire "Meet the Candidates Night" event below:

Wellesley’s town Election Day is Tuesday, March 2nd, with polls open from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm. Early voting by mail is also available. This year, 24 candidates are running for twelve Town-wide offices and three races - Select Board, Housing Authority (5 year term) and Recreation Commission (3 year term) - are contested. Town Meeting members are elected on March 2nd as well, and many precincts are contested. Election information about the candidates is now available on Vote 411.org. Further election details are available through the Town Clerk and on the League of Women Voters of Wellesley website

The League of Women Voters of Wellesley, a nonpartisan political organization, has been dedicated to encouraging active and informed participation in government in Wellesley for the last 80 years.  In sponsoring Meet the Candidates Night, it adheres to strict guidelines to assure a fair and impartial opportunity for all candidates to present their views.  Related League-sponsored events include “How to Run for Public Office”, Voter Registration Days at Wellesley High School and other venues, and Town Government Meet-Ups to bring elected officials together with their constituency to share ideas and concerns.
