On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, National Voter Registration Day, the LWV of Wellesley will return to Wellesley High School to register voters.  The event takes place in the WHS Cafeteria during lunch periods, 10:45 am - 12:30 pm.   All students ages 16 and up are invited to register and pre-register to vote.  To complete the registration form, students must provide either their drivers license number or last 4 digits of the Social Security Number.   The LWVW observed a dramatic increase in the number of WHS students registering to vote, nearly tripling, following the 2016 election.   We applaud students' engagement in civic issues and affirming that their voices be heard through voting!

To vote in the 2018 General Election, registered voters must be 18 years of age on or before November 6, 2018.  Pre-registered voters automatically become eligible to vote on their 18th birthday.
