On July 1, 2021, the League of Women Voters of Dearborn - Dearborn Heights held a meeting with two members of the 2007 Dearborn charter commission. Mary Bugeia and Paula Hamilton-Stokes.  shared information about their experiences serving on the commission as well as how residents can provide input into the charter-making process. The group was additionally joined by City Attorney Debra Walling.
