Dearborn Public Health is seeking to fill nine seats on the city’s new Environmental Commission.

The commission will advise and make recommendations to the mayor, city council, and city administration on a range of environment-related issues.

As a new commission, terms of office will be set so that three members serve one year, three members serve two years, and three members serve three years; all subsequent members are appointed for three years.

No specific background, qualifications, or certifications are needed–just a desire to protect and expand public health and the environment as well as Dearborn residency.

Interested residents can apply by July 21 here.
