If you still need to vote in the November 5 General Election, make a plan to vote in person. You can do so:

 At an early voting site before Election Day. You can vote early at an early voting site from now through November 3. To find the hours and location(s) of your early voting site(s), visit mi.gov/vote and click on “Where do I go to Early Vote?”

 At your city or township clerk’s office before Election Day. You can apply for, receive, complete, and return an absentee ballot all in one trip to your city or township clerk’s office. To find the hours and location(s) of your city or township click, visit mi.gov/vote and click on “where are my clerk’s offices?

 At your polling place on Election Day. All polling locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time on Election Day. To find your polling place, visit mi.gov/vote and click on “your voter information.” Remember to double check your polling location before going to vote! Polling locations can sometimes change, and it’s important to go to the right place.

 Voters can call with any voting-related question - like how to register to vote in the November 5 General Election or where to go to vote early. The lawyers, law students, and legal professionals who staff the hotline are trained in Michigan election law and are eager to take your call! We also encourage voters and voting rights advocates to report issues to the hotline.

Upcoming Key Dates for the November 5 General Election:

 Now: Early voting is available statewide. 

November 3: Early voting ends.

November 4 at 4 p.m.: Deadline to vote in person with an absentee ballot at your city or township clerk’s office if you’re registered to vote where you live (after today at 4 p.m., you must vote at your polling place on Election Day).

 November 5: Election Day! Polls are open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. local time. If you need to register to vote, you can register and then vote at your city or township clerk’s office until 8 p.m.
