LWVMI is holding six regional webinars to inform the public about the MICRC's draft maps and the MICRC public hearings.

Each regional webinar will include sample maps specific to the counties in the region.

The Wayne County Webinar will be held on Monday, October 18 at 6 p.m.  Register here.

Speakers will be Susan Smith, Anqunette Sarfoh, and Charles Thomas.

• Ms. Smith is VP for Advocacy for the League of Women Voters of Michigan, and has been actively following the work of the commission since it started its work in September 2020.
• Ms. Sarfoh is an official observer of the work of the commission.
• Mr. Thomas has been working with local Communities of Interest, which contributed data for the commission to consider in drafting maps.
• Ms. Sarfoh and Mr. Thomas are both members of the League of Women Voters Detroit .
