We want to personally invite you to participate in public forums and interviews for the four finalists in the HFC Presidential Search. These interviews will take place on March 25 and 26 and April 1 and 2. 

 The finalists, in order of interview date, are:

  •  Weds., March 25: L. Michael “Mickey” McCloud, Ph.D.
  • Thurs., March 26: David Knezek, MBA
  • Weds., April 1: Pakou Yang, Ph.D.
  • Thurs., April 2: A. Reginald Best, D.Min.

 We encourage you to attend the forums that correspond to your role at the College, as well as the Community Town Hall and the Board of Trustees public interviews. Here is the daily schedule for each candidate: 

  •  9:00 - 9:45 a.m. - Foundation Board Breakfast
  • 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. - Local 71 and Exempt employees - Berry Amphitheatre, L Building
  • 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. - SSA and DSOEA employees - Berry Amphitheatre or Forfa Auditorium, L building
  • 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. - Cabinet meet and greet / lunch
  • 1:45 - 2:30 p.m. - Ambassadors / Student Council / Honors / Henry J. Bowers Focus Group / Detroit Promise – John McDonald Student and Culinary Arts Center
  • 2:45 - 3:15 p.m. - Dearborn Public Schools / Early College - Cabinet Conference Room, L Building
  • 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. - Faculty Senate / 1650 Executive Board / AFO / Faculty Town Hall - Berry, Forfa, or Rosenau, L Building
  • 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Community Town Hall public forum - Rosenau Rooms, L Building
  • 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Board of Trustees Interview - Rosenau Rooms, L Building

 Following the Candidate interviews, the College community and the public will have the opportunity to provide comments to the Board through an anonymous comment form.
