August 26 is Women's Equality Day, a day to commemorate the 1920 certification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, solidifying the right to vote for some American women.

However, this year LWVUS will not be celebrating.  More than 100 years since women won the right to vote, women have fewer rights than they have had in decades.  We call on our lawmakers to restore and protect the rights of women.
