Behind every statistic is a human story. A mother searching for a safe place for her children to sleep. An individual taking their very first breath of freedom. A family taking their first step toward a peaceful tomorrow.
On Tuesday, October 27, we come together for our 17th Annual Domestic Violence Dinner to champion the courage of survivors and reinforce our promise that no one in our community has to rebuild alone. For 16 years, this event has ensured survivors' stories end in healing rather than heartbreak.
This special evening is a celebration of resilience and an urgent push forward. It funds the vital wraparound care, shelter, nourishment, legal advocacy, and emotional healing that empowers survivors to move from crisis to stability.

In FY2025, the ACCESS SVE program served over 700 survivors - most of whom are low-income immigrants and members of communities of color in Metro Detroit navigating barriers such as poverty, limited healthcare access, language barriers, and isolation.
