The Michigan League of Women Voters and the Michigan Climate Action Network are co-hosting a webinar on data centers.

The issue: 16+ data centers are proposed in Michigan, each consuming city-level amounts of energy. The potential impacts are substantial.

An expert panel will answer all your questions. Join us Thursday, March 5 for a free educational webinar for Michiganders who want to learn more about hyperscale data centers.

The webinar will explore how data centers affect clean energy goals, address and fact-check claims about the technology and its economic impact, examine how other states are responding, and outline policy solutions and community-benefit recommendations.

Register to save your spot, and feel free to visit the hyperscale data centers course in our MiCommunity space to learn more about the issue before the webinar. It is self-directed, so you can learn at your own pace (we’ll share a link to join after you register).

You can also drop questions in the MiCommunity space for our panelists.
