The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Air Quality Division, (AQD) is holding an informational session and public hearing on February 12, 2025, on a proposed air permit requested by EES Coke Battery, LLC located at 1400 Zug Island Road, Detroit, MI 48209 . The comment period will remain open until February 24, 2025. EES Coke Battery is requesting to install a secondary screener and other equipment.

The hearing will begin immediately following the informational session.  The public hearing will be to take formal testimony on the record.

This is an online broadcast of the public meeting being held at the City of River Rouge City Council Chambers, located at 10600 W. Jefferson Ave River Rouge, MI 48218 beginning at 5:30 pm.  After registering, you will receive an email from "EGLE Outreach" with a link for you to use to join the meeting.
