The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce will host “Meet the Candidates” on Thursday, September 19, from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at Park Place Caterers, located at 23400 Park Street in Dearborn. This networking reception, sponsored by Comcast, will provide voters the opportunity to meet and speak with candidates prior to the general election.
The reception will provide an opportunity to individually greet all candidates and to network with elected officials, business owners and community leaders. The open format will be relaxed and welcoming. Appetizers provided with cash bar. Free for all.

The public is encouraged to attend this complimentary reception, presented by Comcast and sponsored by Servpro of Dearborn & Dearborn Heights, provides voters an opportunity to meet and speak with candidates prior to the November elections.
Currently confirmed candidates include Vice President for Libertarian Party: Mike ter Maat; 13th Congressional District: Christopher Clark; State Representative 3rd District: Alabas Farhat and Dr. Richard Zeile; State Representative 15th District: Erin Byrnes; Wayne County Sheriff: Raphael Washington; County Commissioner 8th District: David Knezek; and County Commissioner 13th District: Sam Baydoun. We are also expecting many school board candidates from Dearborn, Crestwood and D7 districts.
