We're in the middle of a flurry of advocacy to adopt gun violence prevention bills that are being discussed this week in Michigan House and Senate hearings.  The possibility of getting gun violence legislation adopted this month seems quite encouraging. Gun violence bills in the legislature include three broad categories of reform: expanding background checks; requiring safe storage; and extreme risk protection orders to remove guns from people who may be a danger to themselves or others.

However, getting bills passed can be just the first step toward getting reforms.  Hear Deborah Olszewski tell about next steps that can be taken to save lives during Michigan's gun violence epidemic! There will be a Q/A period.
