Much like other states across the country,Michigan is being targeted with an unprecedented attack on voting freedoms.  There are bills and policy ideas being pushed that would put up deliberate barriers between people and their freedom to vote.

A coalition of organizations across Michigan came together on August 10 to defend the freedom to vote and bring that message to Detroit with #WeVoteMI Tour.

The event featured speakers from the community, voting rights advocates and local activists who spoke out in the defense of Michigan's accessible elections and against the attack on voting freedoms.
