On Wednesday, May 11, join Sierra Club members for a Virtual Lobby Day of Action to let Michigan lawmakers know that it is time to move forward and be strong advocates for clean energy investments such as energy efficiency, weatherization, and renewable energy. The time is now to move Michigan to provide long-term solutions to lower high energy burdens and become a leader in clean transportation.
Sierra Club is:
- pushing our State Lawmakers to be clean energy champions
- ensuring that we see bold investments in upcoming infrastructure and budget supplemental packages and
- utilizing the federal dollars that are coming into the state to tackle these issues and more
Please join us to let our state lawmakers know the time is NOW to see clean energy and transportation prioritized in our state!
This is a hybrid lobby day. Similar to previous virtual lobby days, the Chapter will provide an option for people to take action from the safety of their own homes via email, phone and social media with a handbook expalining how to engage. Alternatively, those who wish to meet with lawmakers through appointments to meet by video connections will have the opportunity to do so and should indicate that preference on the sign-up form.
