You are invited to hear Nomi Joyrich speak on "Understanding Michigan's New Voting Laws" at 10 a.m. Saturday,  September 21st at the regular meeting of Gray Panthers of Metro Detroit. Nomi Joyrich has been a lead organizer for get out the vote and election protection campaigns with the Michigan Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Network (MUUSJN) and is Director of Jews for a Secular Democracy.   See the attached flyer for more information and a link to join the meeting.   

 As you know, the 2024 election will have major consequences for the future of democracy in our country.  New voting laws are expanding how voters can cast their ballots. Now volunteers are needed to help encourage people to vote and to protect the integrity of local elections..
