LWVDDH supports equal rights for all to provide equal access to housing.
Position History:
This position was originally held by the former Detroit Metropolitan Area LWV and was adopted by the local league when the DMA LWV was disbanded.
1.Support of equal housing rights for all, regardless of race, gender or creed..
2. Promotion of equal housing opportunities and encouragement of stability of integrated neighborhoods in the Detroit metropolitan area, through implementation of open occupancy laws and promotion of an adequate supply of housing for lower income families.
