Candidate Forum Video Links

The League conducts candidate forums prior to elections.  We hold forums for candidates running for State and Congressional office, school boards, township boards,  city councils and even library boards.  Whether the forums are in-person or virtual, they are recorded and available to the public here. All candidates appearing on the ballot (and write-in candidates who have been certified by the City Clerk) are invited to the forum.

The LWV provides candidate forums as an opportunity for candidates to express their views related to their candidacy. Statements expressed by the candidates are not endorsed nor opposed by the LWV. Also, the LWV does not certify any candidate responses to questions as accurate. Voters are encouraged to fact-check information shared at the forum.

All the candidates running in the Primary Election were also invited to participate in the LWV's non-partisan Voter Guide.  Visit VOTE411.org and enter your address to see all the races and candidates on your ballot.
