We are all equal at the ballot box, but only if we vote. We engage millions of voters every year ensuring Americans have the information they need to participate in elections that determine our future.
In 2014, it was missing voter lists and delayed starts at polling sites in Hartford. In 2018, residents waited up to seven hours just to cast a ballot in Mansfield and New Haven.
League-sponsored candidate forums are among the most popular and appreciated things we do at election time. With the 2020 elections soon upon us, we expect to be very busy coordinating forums for the various electoral races.
Do you need to register to vote? Have you moved since you last voted? Has your name changed? Stop by the Voter Registration table on the main floor of the library to register to vote.
