LWV Kansas will have a booth at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, and LWVL-DC is signed up to staff the booth on Saturday, Sept. 11, 9 am-9:15 pm.

Voting rights are under attack across the nation. Legislators have introduced over 360 voter suppression bills in 47 states. Enough is enough.  A coalition of nonpartisan organizations including LWV of Downers Grove, Woodridge, and Lisle honored John Lewis's legacy by advocating for the passage of U.S. Senate Bill S1 For the People Act which eliminates voter suppression; U.S. House Bill HR4 the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and for removing the filibuster.
