High Springs Branch Library

This League at the Library event will take place at the High Springs Branch Library and will be an inside event. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to man the table.

During LWVAC's 2024 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Campaign for the 2024 Election Season, the Voter Services team is organizing multiple Alachua County Library tabling events. The goal is to have a table at each of the 12 libraries once a month for 2 hours at peak times until November. We hope to increase League visibility and engage with current and potential voters, especially young people.

Take a little time this weekend to celebrate the anniversary of the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848, the first women's rights convention in the U.S. The Declaration of Sentiments drafted there began with "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal." And look what they set loose!

Sussex LWV Membership Chair Sue Claire Harper joins other speakers at a presentation on Voting Rights and Election Information co-sponsored by the Delaware Deaf Senior Citizens and the Delaware Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH).
