There will be refreshments and opportunity to chat with the candidates at 6:30. 

Outgoing County Clerk Naomi Maestas will explain the voting procedures.  Kristin Henderson, Chair of the UNM-LA Advisory Board, will explain the UNM-LA GO Bonds question.

Two unopposed candidates will speak and answer questions: Representative Christine Chandler, running for NM House District 43 (the district that includes Los Alamos and White Rock), and Michael Redondo, who is running for Los Alamos County Clerk.

All five candidates for County Council will introduce themselves and answer questions: Republican David Reagor; Libertarian James Wernicke; and Democrats Beverly Neal-Clinton, Ryn Herrmann, and Denise Derkacs.

As always for our LWV-LA Forums, members of the Los Alamos High School Hilltalkers will be timekeepers.

The Voter Guide was enclosed in the LA Daily Post delivered yesterday.  It contains the candidates’ responses to questions as well as information about the four proposed constitutional amendments and the five General Obligation Bonds, the final one of which is the GO Bond to fund upgrades to UNM-LA.
