Students Inside Albany Conference

The Students Inside Albany conference is held annually in May, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New York State Education Foundation, Inc.  Application is open to high school juniors and seniors and is designed to increase students' awareness of New York's governmental process. This interactive conference brings together students from across the state to learn about the process by which citizens can participate in the policy making arena, including tours of the Capitol and opportunities to shadow their representatives in the Senate and Assembly.

The 2025 conference is May 18-21, 2025. 

All expenses are covered, including travel, overnight accommodations and meals during the conference.

We anticipate sending one student and are on the waiting list for a second student.

Selected student(s) will be provided with permission forms and materials that must be received by the NYS League of Women Voters by March 1 to afford the State League time to make all arrangements.

Deadline for submission of application and reference for 2025 is February 13th.
