Town of Middlefield Informational Meeting on Ballot Ballot Proposal Regarding Highway Superintendent

In the November election, residents of the Town of Middlefield will vote on a proposal to change the position of Town Highway Superintendent from an elected to an appointed position. The Town held two public hearings in the spring on the question, and the Town Board voted unanimously to approve the change. To become law, however, the citizens of Middlefield must vote to approve the change.
