LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS® PASADENA AREA

Dear League of Women Voters Member,

On Sunday afternoon, July 14, between 3:00 and 5:00 pm, the League will again sponsor an Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social for members and friends.  This party will be right next to the LWV offices at the Western Justice Center….using both the outdoor patios and the nice, cool inside of the historic Maxwell House.  Highlights include:

•      Music performed by a local high school band.
•      Generous servings of Fosselman’s fabulous ice cream and sorbet in waffle cones.
•      Delicious fruit, fudge sauce, and assorted sundae toppings.
•      Opportunities for advocacy on League positions.
•      A great chance to meet and share your concerns. 
•      We have invited as our guests all of the elected representatives from our 13 cities, including            all of our school board members.
•      Learn about upcoming Voter Service activities and opportunity for Voter registration.
•      A silent auction including time at a mountain cabin, local restaurants, wine, & theater tickets.
•      And great conversation with interesting people.

This FRIEND RAISER is lots of fun….and is also a FUNDRAISER, so we need sponsors to make the event affordable for everyone including the younger folks we need as part of LWV-PA.  Any profit over expenses will be used to support the important work that we do in voter education and advocacy.

We hope YOU will become a “Super Scooper “ at one of these suggested levels:

            Banana Split…………………………….. $250 or above (includes 6 tickets)

            Chocolate Sundae with all the toppings… $100-$249 (includes 4 tickets)

            Double Scoop Ice Cream Cone…………  $50-$99 (includes 2 tickets)

            Gourmet Sorbet Cone…………………... $20-$49
