Register to Vote
- Register to vote online through the NM Secretary of State Voter Services webpage. Registration (by mail or online) closes on May 7, 2024 for the Primary Election.
- After May 7, voters can use Same Day Registration. The voter must register and vote on the same day.
- These links may not work if you are overseas. Click here to find out more about overseas voting and consider using the Federal Post Card Application.
Important Dates
- May 7, 2024: Voter registration (by mail or online) closes.
- May 7, 2024: First day that absentee ballots can be mailed to voters (who have submitted an absentee application), and first day that voters can cast their vote in person at their local county clerk’s office.
- May 7, 2024: Early voting 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Los Alamos County Municipal Building--Council Chambers.
- May 18 thru Saurday June 1: Early voting. Monday thru Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Los Alamos County Municipal Bulding--Council Chambers and White Rock Town Hall--Training Rooms.
- May 21, 2024: Last day to request an absentee ballot.
- June 1, 2024: Last day of early voting
- June 4, 2024: Primary Election Day - Eligible voters may vote 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations: Los Alamos County Municipal Building: Council Chambers, UNMLA: Building 2, Room 230, Los Alamos County Golf Course Community Building: Multi-purpose Room, Betty Ehart Senior Center: Downstairs Classroom, and White Rock Town Hall: Training Rooms.
