As Americans, it is our civic duty to vote and engage in our political process. The people we choose to represent us will have an enormous impact on our lives.   You can visit the NM Secretary of State Voter Information Portal at NMVote.org

Important Dates

  • Oct 10, 2023: Voter registration (by mail or online) closes.
  • Oct 10, 2023: First day that absentee ballots can be mailed to voters (who have submitted an absentee application), and first day that voters can cast their vote in person at their local county clerk’s office.
  • Oct 10, 2023: Early voting 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Los Alamos County Municipal Building--Council Chambers.
  • Oct. 21 thru Saurday Nov. 4. Monday thru Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Los Alamos County Municipal Bulding--Council Chambers and White Rock Town Hall--Training Rooms.
  • Oct. 24, 2023: Last day to request an absentee ballot.
  • Nov 4, 2023: Last day of early voting
  • Nov. 7, 2022: Election Day - Eligible voters may vote 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following location: Los Alamos County Municipal Building: Council Chambers, UNMLA: Building 2, Room 230, Los Alamos County Golf Course Community Building: Multi-purpose Room, Betty Ehart Senior Center: Downstairs Classroom, and White Rock Town Hall: Training Rooms.
