Candidates for contested general election races for Portage County Commissioner, Portage County Court of Common Pleas - General Division, Portage County Recorder, Portage County Sheriff, State Senate 18th District, and State Representative 75th District will talk with voters in small groups. Event participants will hear opening remarks from each candidate and then move into small breakout "rooms" that candidates will join. A downloadable version of the LWV Kent Voters' Guide will be available here in October. The Record-Courier also publishes the guide in print and online closer to the election. Members who would like to join the Voter Service Committee, which organized the forum, should email Chair Jen Kinney at jen.lynn.kinney [at] gmail.com.
