Membership Dues?
- Individual members: $75 per year is the recommended amount, or pay what you can ($20 minimum).
- You can add a second member ($150 total for both recommended, $40 for both minimum), but they each will need to provide a unique email address.
- Life members: In appreciation of their dedication to democracy, Life Members(members for more than 50 years) are exempt from membership dues
- Membership dues are split between the [League of WomenVoters of Butte County, LWV California and LWVUS].
- Dues are paid annually, renewable on your Join Date anniversary each year.
Who are the Members?
- Membership in the League of Women Voters, one of the most respected and effective
grassroots organizations in the country, is open to all people age 16 or older
Why Should I Join?

- gain knowledge and experience through the study and discussion of timely and important topics
- discover new interests, develop new skills and learn about crucial issues in your community
- make professional contacts and develop lasting friendships as you meet others in League who share your interests
Your Membership Includes?
- Memberships in the LWV California, LWV of the United States and League of Women Voter of Butte County
- Publications and the newsletter, Voter, from the Butte County League of Women Voters, usually published 5 times each year
- Civic and Nonpartisan information you can trust
- Opportunity to make a difference in your community

2) Member Portal
After joining, LWV members can access the Member Portal to:
● update their information (e.g. change their phone number, address, etc.)
● Access VOTE411
● Access the LWV of Butte County website
