The Western Wayne County NAACP will be presenting its annual Freedom Fund event on Sunday, October 17, begining at 4:30 pm.  The fundraising event will be virtual.  

The theme of this year's event is On the Road to Recovery: Let the Healing Begin.  

Two of our League members will be recognized.

Rep. Debbie Dingell will be recognized for her work as an "Elected Official".

Connie Mitchell will receive a "Freedom and Justice" recognition.
