League of Women Voters of Butte County Special Board Meeting Minutes March 16, 2022 6:00 pm Via ZOOM |
Members Present: Mahalley Allen, Roxanne Ferry, Sandra Flake, Lori Fuentes, Claire Greene, Patty Haley, Janet Rechtman, Toni Reid, and Satsie Veith
Guests Present: Carol Burr and Carolyn Dusenbury
- 1. Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm.
2. Proposed Bylaws Revisions
Members and guests discussed preparing a tracked changes version of the proposed bylaws revisions to present to the membership as well as a clean copy. Sandra suggested one possibility is to use a Microsoft Word program to compare the current version of the bylaws to the proposed revisions to the bylaws.
Board members and guests went article by article through the proposed revisions, discussed questions, and made updates to the proposed revisions. Claire will clean up the draft of the proposed revisions.
Motion:
Sandra moved that we accept the proposed revisions to the bylaws subject to minor editing to correct errors. Roxanne seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
