Meeting Summary:
PUBLIC COMMENT
Detective DeSerio provided a breakdown of calls answered in the township for February, including agency assists, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic stops, disorderly conduct, fraud, and animal complaints among others for a total of 209 calls.
ROAD REPORT
An ODNR grant application has been submitted for help with the installation of pickleball courts at Phillips Park. Spring clean-up will be held at the maintenance garage during April 28 and 29.

There was a discussion of the increased number of vape smoke shops in the state and the township. Mr. Swan would like an inventory of the number of such shops and their locations in the township for further discussion.
FIRE REPORT
A permit is being sought to upgrade the alarm system at the town hall.
OLD BUSINESS
A discussion took place about an open-door policy versus an appointment-only system in the town hall after the administrator has been made to feel threatened by a number of visitors, particularly those agitated by zoning issues. Ms. August will explore options.
NEW BUSINESS
Glenn Russell and Scott Swan are attending the Portage County Sheriff's Office-sponsored Citizen’s Academy and finding it very informative.
CORRESPONDENCE
Glenn Russell received a call from a woman whose neighbor has exhibited a rising level of aggression related to parking complaints, including waiving a baseball bat.
