Ranked-Choice voting is in the news a lot lately. Just what is it, and what are the implications for elections?
Join us to learn how Ranked-Choice Voting works to elect officials and how its design is intended to address the problems of our current plurality system, and change incentives for the better.
Leading the presentation and discussion is Ron Zimmerman, Executive Director of the Michigan grassroots organization Rank MI Vote. Ron’s career has been spent implementing large-scale process improvements in industry. Then as a volunteer for Voters Not Politicians 2018 Independent Re-Districting in the Lansing Region. And now as a volunteer lead of another pillar of reform: Ranked Choice Voting.
