This is just a little reminder that, while our events are “free” to LWV-PA members (there is no admission charge), they are not really free to the League. The Events Committee does have to budget for both the room and the light refreshments—muffins, bagels, coffee, and tea—that are available at in-person meetings.

We therefore ask that attendees place a donation in the basket by the food and on the sign-in table to help cover our costs. The approximate cost per muffin/bagel is $1.50, and coffee is about $1.75.
