This was a special City Council Meeting to deal with Draft 2024-001. Motion to authorize draft Legislation and suspend council standing rules. Pass 7-2 (Shaffer Bish and Turner voted no)

• 2024-001 An ordinance authorizing the clerk of council to notify the board of elections to withdraw the city's proposed charter amendment from the ballot of the March 19, 2024 election, which proposed amendment was approved by council via ordinance 2023-0061 and declaring an emergency.
• Motion to spend the three readings of 2024-001. motion approved 7-2 Shaffer Bish and Turner opposed)
• Motion to adopt 2024-001 carried 7-2 (Shaffer Bish and Turner opposed)

After the passage, Shaffer Bish proposed to move to the committee a continued discussion onward maps. The motion carries unanimously.
