The 45th Annual League of Women Voters "Wine Tasting Benefit' will take place on Sunday, April 15th. It is the longest-running event of its kind in the north state. League members prepare gourmet appetizers to pair with the many fine wines and brews.

We welcome 30 wineries or more from traditional wine country, Sacramento valley and the foothills. We also present several breweries and olive oil producers.

This is the League of Women Voters of Butte County's primary fundraiser. The income is used for Voter Education, candidate forums and proposition pro & con programs. The League also sends observers to local boards and commissions. We advocate on issues following study and consensus by League members. We study many current issues including water & environmental needs, health care, voting rights and education. We keep voter registration forms supplied throughout the County and register voters at public events.
